Top deal: Goldman Sachs’ Marcus now pays 1.3%
Marcus by Goldman Sachs raised the interest rate on its online savings account and Isa Cash.
They now tie top payers at 1.3%. The rate includes a premium of 0.25 percentage point, compared to 0.1 point previously.
New members will automatically receive the new offer. Existing customers will need to log in and add it to their account. This is the fourth time this year that the supplier has raised its prices.
Zopa also increased the rate of its app-based Smart Saver to 1.3% earlier this week.
Yorkshire BS pays 1.33% higher on its Internet Saver Plus, number 11, but you need £10,000 in your account to qualify for this rate. If your balance is lower, the rate is 1.1%.
